State Farm Conjures Up a Halloween Fright in Its Latest Commercial – Coincidence or Not
Someone called for a nightmare? State Farm’s newly released Halloween commercial suggests the timing might be no accident at all, delivering a spot that blends genuine household misfortune with a wonderfully unexpected supernatural twist.
The story opens on a couple discovering that a tree beside their house has collapsed directly onto the building, leaving behind serious damage and a considerable amount of dismay. “This is a nightmare,” the man laments, his voice heavy with resignation.
Almost instantly, as if summoned by the very word itself, a ghostly phantom materializes out of nowhere, posing an eerily fitting question: “Someone called for a nightmare?”
Visibly unimpressed, the phantom regards the couple’s predicament with something bordering on professional skepticism, clarifying that she is, in fact, a professional ghost accustomed to dealing with genuine nightmares, and this, apparently, does not quite measure up.
Yet the spirit soon reveals herself to be surprisingly benevolent, urging the beleaguered homeowners to recite the familiar State Farm jingle: “Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there.”
No sooner do the words leave their lips than a State Farm agent materializes just as swiftly as the ghost herself, ready to resolve the couple’s very real nightmare, and, fittingly, send the phantom on her way.
