Have you not yet secured a reservation? Rivian has released a new commercial announcing that the R2 has officially arrived, with invitations to order set to follow shortly.

The Rivian R2 is a mid-size, all-electric adventure SUV, developed by American manufacturer Rivian as a smaller, more accessible addition to its mass-market lineup.

The vehicle includes a front trunk (frunk) and fold-flat rear seats, contributing to a total storage capacity of approximately 90 cubic feet. Notably more compact than the R1S, the R2’s footprint closely aligns with that of a mid-size crossover.

In terms of performance, the R2 offers an estimated driving range of between 275 and 345 miles, depending on the specific battery and motor configuration selected, and is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 3.6 seconds.
