Orbitals Nintendo Switch 2 Trailer

Nintendo has extended a formal invitation to players everywhere to step into the world of Orbitals, a cooperative puzzle-adventure title developed by Shapefarm and published by Kepler Interactive, arriving exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2.

The announcement accompanies the game’s launch trailer, which made its online debut this September.

Conceived with a deep reverence for the warmth, charm, and visual sensibility of classic Japanese anime, the world of Orbitals is rendered with meticulous care throughout.

Hand-crafted cinematic cutscenes, brought to life by Studio Massket, lend the game a distinctly artisanal, storybook quality, while full voice acting in both Japanese and English ensures the experience feels authentic and richly performed for audiences on either side of the Pacific.

At its core, Orbitals has been built from the ground up around asymmetric two-player cooperative play, a design philosophy that asks its players not simply to play alongside one another, but to genuinely depend on one another.

Teamwork and clear, constant communication become essential tools, as players must coordinate closely to overcome peril and chart a course through the game’s uncharted, mysterious territories.

Underscoring the trailer’s emotional resonance is its theme song, “ORBITALS Opening Theme – Accelerating Destiny” (加速する運命), a composition crafted by the duo Falk & Klou and performed by legendary 1980s J-pop vocalist Mami Ayukawa, a pairing that lends the trailer an air of nostalgic grandeur befitting the game’s anime-inspired soul.

The track was released in September 2026 by Laced Records as part of the Orbitals (Original Game Soundtrack) album.
