Morgan & Morgan Merman Commercial

There’s something undeniably striking about having a merman as your lifeguard, a genuine power move, by any measure. But according to the latest Morgan & Morgan commercial, hiring America’s largest injury law firm to handle your injury claim ranks as an equally shrewd power move in its own right, standing shoulder to shoulder with the merman in terms of sheer confidence.

It remains unclear from the clip itself whether the woman featured in the scene genuinely has an aversion to swimming, or whether her reluctance is simply a clever pretext, engineered to strike up a conversation with the lifeguard in question. What is certain, however, regardless of her true motives, is that her plan ultimately succeeds, however she intended it.

The song playing in the background is “Atchika Boum” by Janko Nilovic and Dave Sucky, released in 1971 on the French label Editions Montparnasse 2000. It appears on their collaborative album Vocal Impressions.
