Once You’ve Been to the Moon, Where Do You Go Next? Apple Says: Back to Work
It’s a question posed with characteristic Apple wit, once you’ve reached the moon, where does ambition take you next? The answer, according to the tech giant’s latest commercial, is refreshingly grounded: back to work.
With this understated yet confident framing, Apple introduces the new iPhone 18 Pro, positioned unequivocally as the most capable iPhone the company has ever created.
At its core lies the A20 Pro chip, delivering exceptional AI capabilities while remaining cooled by a next-generation vapor chamber, an engineering refinement built to sustain peak performance under real-world demands.
The device also introduces the longest battery life ever offered in an iPhone, with the iPhone 18 Pro Max delivering six additional hours of video playback compared to its iPhone 17 Pro Max predecessor.
Photography, too, receives a meaningful evolution, courtesy of a Pro camera system now equipped with variable aperture, greater depth of field, and markedly improved low-light image quality, refinements aimed at giving photographers, casual and professional alike, greater creative control. Rounding out the experience is Siri AI, reimagined as a more personal, more powerful assistant woven throughout the iPhone experience.
Pre-orders open at 5:00 a.m. PT on September 12, with the iPhone 18 Pro officially available beginning September 18.
The song featured in the iPhone 18 Pro commercial is “Stampede” by Genesis Owusu.
