Gears of War Unveils Official Trailer for “E-Day,” a Harrowing Prequel to the Franchise’s Origins

Gears of War has released the official trailer for Gears of War: E-Day, the highly anticipated third-person shooter developed by The Coalition and People Can Fly, and published by Xbox Game Studios. E-Day transports players to the heart of Emergence Day, the pivotal, apocalyptic event in which the Locust Horde first erupts from the subterranean depths of the planet Sera, igniting a genocidal war against humanity that would come to define the franchise’s entire mythology.

Emergence begins October 6. Those who pre-order the Premium Edition gain up to five days of early access starting immediately, alongside the Exfil Dom Character Skin and Exfil Weapon Skin Set, unlocked in-game at launch.
