Sarah Lancashire is the newest celebrity to star in Yorkshire Tea’s popular “Where Everything’s Done Proper” marketing campaign.

The advertisement, created in a humorous “whodunnit” style, sees the actress reprise her iconic role as police officer Catherine Cawood from the hit drama Happy Valley. This time, she stars as the brand’s security chief and steps in when an employee reports the mysterious disappearance of her packet of biscuits. Using her sharp detective skills, she interrogates a few suspects and soon cracks the case. In a comedic twist, the culprit turns out to be none other than the employee herself, who had eaten the entire packet of “biccies.”

The campaign, crafted by Lucky Generals, is airing across TV, BVOD, cinema, and, for the first time, SVOD platforms such as Netflix and Prime.

Yorkshire Tea, the UK’s No. 1 tea brand, has also teamed up with Sir Patrick Stewart and Sean Bean in the past for its “Where Everything’s Done Proper” campaign, which has been running since 2017.
