Scout Motors, the U.S.-based automotive company created by the Volkswagen Group in 2022, has dropped a new commercial titled “Have A Great Day.”

The 60-second spot portrays the company’s employees setting out for work in the early hours of the morning, their dedication illuminated by the quiet dawn. Along the way, they are met with words of encouragement and gestures of support from every corner of the community, emphasizing a shared spirit of appreciation and solidarity.

“Scout Motors is ramping up construction on its production center in Blewood, bringing over 4,000 jobs to South Carolina,” the voiceover is heard saying in the ad.

The original International Harvester Scout (1961-1980) was one of the first American SUVs, considered a rival to the Ford Bronco and Jeep.

The commercial ends with onscreen lines reading “It Takes a Company to Build a Truck – It Takes a Community to Make It an Icon.”
