Rivian, the American electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer that specializes in adventure-oriented trucks and SUVs, has dropped a new commercial titled “What If.”

“What if your dream was to build the fastest car ever? Like, it was the only thing you thought about. One day, what if you decided to really do it? But what if the world needed more
than something fast? So what if you built something more adventurous that could climb mountains and go swimming? What if you put a hole through the side of it? And took out the engine so you could fit in more stuff, and it got better overnight, and it helped keep us safe. And oh yeah, you still made it really fast. What if it was all electric, and super friendly, and built for the future? What if people start to really like it? I mean, what if they like it, and she likes it, and even these guys like it? What if the next thing you build even more people like it? And what if you build something crazy like this? Is any of this even possible?” are just some of the questions a child asks in the commercial.

The Rivian’s three main vehicles are R1T All-Electric Pickup Truck, the first all-electric pickup to hit the U.S. market, R1S All-Electric SUV, launched in 2022, and EDV – Electric Delivery Van, developed for Amazon, one of Rivian’s largest investors.
