Janice insists she’s an excellent driver. At least, that’s what she claims in Progressive’s latest commercial. But her actions tell a different story: she takes her hands off the wheel and looks away from the road while driving. She probably needs lessons in defensive driving.

Accompanied by Flo, she sets off for Mom’s house to celebrate her birthday. But just before they arrive, she abruptly stops in front of a Smokehouse and rushes off, claiming she has a meeting. Before leaving, she asks Flo to tidy up the car, complaining, “There’s, like, floss everywhere.”

“That’s what Progressive Snapshot is for. Personalized discounts so that safe drivers don’t have to pay for bad drivers’ mistakes,” Flo is heard saying in the commercial.
