Magnum Bonbon Library & Cat Commercial / Advert Girl
Magnum introduces its new bite-sized ice cream, Magnum Bonbon, in a playful new commercial.

As part of the brand’s “Nothing Cracks Like Magnum” campaign, the ad is set in a quiet library. It opens with a curly-haired young man noisily sipping his drink, disrupting the silence and earning disapproving looks from those around him. Sensing a challenge, a young woman decides to take a bite of a Magnum Bonbon, and the resulting loud crack causes chaos. The sudden noise startles a man on a ladder behind her, making him drop the books he was holding.

The spot concludes with the voiceover saying the tagline “Magnum Bonbon. Nothing cracks like Magnum.” The ad is set to “The Grand Duel” by Argentine composer Luis Enriquez Bacalov, a track also featured in another commercial where a cat dramatically jumps in response to the signature Magnum chocolate crack.

Magnum Bonbon combines cracking Magnum chocolate, velvety vanilla ice cream, ribbons of sauce, and crunchy inclusions. It is available in three flavors: Gold Caramel Billionaire, White Chocolate & Cookie, and Salted Caramel & Almond.
