Citroën showcases its all-electric ë-C4 in a new advert that tells the captivating and unexpected story of an unlikely friendship between a young woman and an extraterrestrial.
Directed by filmmaker Gary Freedman, the spot follows the woman behind the wheel of the ë-C4, with Mike the alien in the passenger seat, racing down the highway while being pursued by military helicopters and police cars. As the chase unfolds, it becomes clear that she is helping her extraterrestrial friend reach his spaceship. Their emotional farewell beneath the massive spacecraft takes an unexpected twist when the alien suddenly pushes her onto the ship and speeds off in her car instead.
Ignoring her cries for help, Mike, the extraterrestrial, simply turns on the music and drives away, leaving her behind.
Federico Goyret, Citroën’s Marketing Director, explained that this campaign, which launched on February 2 in France and is set to expand across Europe and Turkey, “explores universal emotions such as confidence and surprise while showcasing the unparalleled comfort of the Citroën ë-C4.”
The new Citroën ë-C4 offers two battery options: a 54 kWh battery delivering up to 257 miles of range (115 kW/156 hp), perfect for longer trips with fewer charging stops, and a 50 kWh battery providing up to 219 miles of range (100 kW/136 hp), making it a cost-effective choice for daily urban and suburban commuting.
