AT&T has launched a new commercial promoting its “AT&T Guarantee.”
In the 15-second spot, the message is the following: while many things in life aren’t guaranteed, like the length of your in-laws’ stay, AT&T guarantees reliable connectivity, great deals, and the service you deserve.
The video features a married couple who, upon greeting their in-laws at the front door, realize the in-laws have unpacked an overwhelming number of suitcases, hinting at a much longer stay than expected.
Another ad for the AT&T Guarantee features a young woman named Kathy struggling to wash her hands in a public restroom, as the sink won’t work. When someone else uses it and the sink functions perfectly, Kathy jokingly wonders if the sink “recognizes” her. This spot also features Marshawn Lynch, who appears in the commenter’s booth, attempting to make an announcement but failing to synchronize.
The AT&T Guarantee campaign also includes appearances from Tim Tebow in multiple ads. In one, the former NFL quarterback fumbles a simple throw, accidentally tossing his car keys into someone else’s SUV window instead of handing them to the valet. In other ads, Tebow plays a new AT&T Expert at the office.
