Apple TV+ showcases its expansion to Android devices in a new ad promoting its recently launched app.

The 15-second spot features clips from hit Apple TV+ series, including Ted Lasso, Wolfs, Silo, Shrinking, Severance, and The Morning Show, with A-list stars at the forefront. Among them are George Clooney and Brad Pitt in the action-comedy Wolfs, Jason Sudeikis as the beloved coach in the sports comedy-drama series Ted Lasso, Jason Segel and Harrison Ford, who co-star in “Shrinking”, a comedy series about a therapist who decides to be brutally honest, and Adam Scott in the psychological thriller “Severance”.

Set to a dramatic soundtrack, the ad highlights that “thrilling dramas, epic sci-fi, heartwarming comedies, and award-winning originals” are now accessible on Android.

This long-awaited app launch comes over eight years after the debut of the Apple TV app. Released on February 12, the new version is now available for free on the Google Play Store, compatible with Android smartphones and tablets running Android 10 or later.
