Progressive promotes its HomeQuote Explorer service in a new commercial. This time, it’s not Flo or Jamie taking center stage, but Mara, played by Natalie Palamides.

The spot features a couple of homeowners having Mara in their home showing them how Progressive’s HomeQuote Explorer lets them easily compare home insurance options so they can get what they need without overpaying. As the two life partners say they spent a lot on their kitchen, the ghost of an old man who turns out to be the previous owner of that house, shows up, making all kinds of comments. “He’s more annoying than anything,” the husband tells Mara, who encourages them to check if they can save some money with Progressive. The ghost, who doesn’t hesitate to point out that there is mold behind the backsplash, also reveals the price he originally paid for the fireplace they have in the living room and comments on the lack of a rug.

Progressive enlisted Natalie Palamides as Mara in 2020, three years after tapping actor Jim Cashman as Jamie.

The insurance company has also teamed up with Paul Mabon to play Alan, Christine Tawfik to play Lucy, and Brian Stepanek to play Bob.

Progressive is also known for its ad campaigns featuring Dr Rick, the Parenta-Life Coach, who helps new homeowners to not turn into their parents, and the Motaur (played by Terrence Terrell).
