Nissan Australia introduces its X-Trail e-Power, marking the brand’s initial foray into electrifying its largest SUV, through a fresh commercial.

The advertisement showcases a mother driving a Nissan X-Trail e-Power along a scenic country road, with her daughter seated in the back. A small, bug-shaped electric robot follows their car, eventually settling in the girl’s lap when it runs out of energy.

The voiceover in the commercial states, “Nissan e-POWER: Driven by electric. Fueled by petrol. No need for plug-ins.”

The soundtrack features the 2008 single “City Lights” by Sundriver, a trance producer from Poland, known for his atmospheric tracks.

The Nissan X-Trail e-Power is priced between £36,965 and £49,370, with a starting price of £32,932 for cash purchases. Monthly payments begin at £329. On Carwow, the starting price for a used Nissan X-Trail e-Power is £29,500.
