M&S Food Katherine Jenkins Christmas TV Advert

Marks & Spencer (M&S) Food has released a new festive advertisement featuring their luxurious Christmas desserts, inviting customers to discover these seasonal delights at the M&S Foodhall.

The ad stars Dawn French, reprising her role as the Christmas fairy from last year’s campaign while also playing herself, adorned in twinkling Christmas lights. When asked if the scene is “Christmassy enough,” Dawn grimaces, prompting the fairy to conjure up indulgent M&S treats like a hand-rolled pistachio and raspberry roulade and the best-ever Madagascan vanilla and chocolate yule log. “Now that is Christmassy enough for me!” Dawn exclaims.

But she soon takes things a step further by borrowing the fairy’s magic wand to summon Katherine Jenkins and a choir into her living room. The Welsh singer, dressed in a stunning red gown, performs the classic Christmas carol “Deck the Halls,” looking somewhat surprised by her surroundings. “She is Christmas, isn’t she?” Dawn remarks to her tiny companion, beaming at the impromptu performance.

The ad concludes with the iconic tagline: “These are not just desserts. These are M&S desserts.”

In another spot, Dawn French and the fairy highlight M&S’s “Best-Ever slow-cooked turkey,” which is foolproof and ready in under two hours, alongside Cornish Cruncher cauliflower cheese, topped with a sourdough and cauliflower crumb.
