

McDonald’s has released a series of new ads to promote its two new sauces, the Sweet & Spicy Jam Sauce and the Mambo Sauce, respectively.
One of the spots, titled “Breakfast Sauce”, features TikTok foodie Natelo98, aka Natelovlogs, introduced as “a professional breakfast eater” parking his car early in the morning in a McDonald’s parking lot, ready to film himself trying the new additions to the menu. “I woke up really early for this,” says the young man whilst showcasing a nugget dipped in the Sweet & Spicy Jam Sauce. After “a little bit of that drizzle action”, he tries the sauce with other menu items, as well, and the voiceover informs that the chain’s Sweet & Spicy Jam Sauce and the Mambo Sauce are available at McDonald’s for a limited time.
The delightful and zesty jam sauce bears a resemblance to pepper jelly, offering a fruit-forward flavor with subtle hints of spice from cayenne and the tingling sensation of Szechuan peppercorns. While it boasts a jam-like thickness, it evokes memories of Thai sweet chili sauce. While it pairs well with fries and nuggets, its true brilliance emerges in the morning when drizzled on a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit.
McDonald’s mambo sauce takes inspiration from the popular barbecue-style sauce commonly found in Washington D.C. and Chicago. This condiment offers a balance of acidity and sweetness, followed by a gradually intensifying heat, making it an ideal complement for nuggets, fries, sandwiches, and even hash browns.
The two spicy condiments inspired by regional flavors hit locations on Monday, October 9, and will be available for a limited time only.
The fast-food chain says that other five creators will share their authentic reviews of the new sauces on TikTok.
