H-E-B Bobblehead Commercial - Feat. Alex Bregman and Jeremy Pena

H-E-B has launched a fresh commercial featuring Houston Astros players Jeremy Pena and Alex Bregman.

In the ad, Bregman utilizes an Alex Bregman Back 2 Back Bobblehead Figure (available for online purchase) to seek affirmation for his desires. He poses various questions to the bobblehead, such as “Should we reorder brisket queso from H-E-B?”, “Do I need chips with this?” (referring to a sandwich), and “Should Pena give Bregman a bite?”, awaiting its nod of approval. Pena, who appears reluctant to share his meal with Bregman, points out that the bobblehead isn’t a crystal ball. When Bregman questions if Pena is simply jealous, his teammate grabs another bobblehead and queries if Bregman is ridiculous, simultaneously nodding along with the bobblehead.

The Texas-based grocery chain has previously featured multiple ads starring Houston Astros players, including George Springer, Carlos Correa, Jose Altuve, and Kyle Tucker. One commercial depicts Bregman placing an “H-E-B Curbside Only” parking sign in his front yard, only for Peña and Altuve to disregard it. They later produced a sequel where Peña receives his own designated parking spot over Altuve’s. In another ad, Peña and Lance McCullers Jr. mistakenly interpret “salsa night” as a dance, rather than an event centered around the dip. Additionally, Tucker, who debuted in an H-E-B ad last spring, inadvertently activates a switch at Minute Maid Park, unaware that he’s operating the stadium’s retractable roof.
