The 30-second spot showcases two young trash-talking fans, a fervent supporter moved to tears while performing a team anthem, and a superstitious fan who meticulously recreates past game scenarios with friends. So meticulously he even throws away a fellow’s bowl of popcorn because he didn’t have popcorn the last time. As the scenes unfold, the voiceover concludes with the message, “However you fan, get more with GEICO.”
Earlier this month, the NCAA and GEICO unveiled a new corporate partnership, designating GEICO as the official home and auto insurance partner of the NCAA. This comprehensive collaboration encompasses all 90 men’s and women’s championships, signaling GEICO’s return to the NCAA fold and reaffirming its dedication to NCAA student-athletes and collegiate athletics.
