A couple loves their new home and bundling their insurance with GEICO, even if their garage is a black hole literally, in the latest GEICO ad.
The spot begins with the couple (played by Les Ayinde Howell and Mia Serafino) standing in front of their new home and praising it for its great location and quiet neighbourhood. However, they do mention the fact that their garage is “a bit of a black hole” and, as soon as the wife says that “everything disappears”, she gets dragged into the hole, where she is happy to find her summer jams mix.
Left alone, the man points out that, at least, GEICO makes bundling their home and car insurance easy.
The commercial ends with the voiceover urging viewers to visit geico.com for more information on bundling made easy.
The “Bundling Made Easy” campaign depicts a variety of other scenarios in which couples of homeowners must deal with some kind of disadvantage related to their new home, which they otherwise love and insured with GEICO. Some of the spots feature the legendary Ken Griffey Jr., known for his outstanding baseball career. In one of them he even shares the screen with his wife, Melissa. The two praise their home and admit they have to deal with a neighbor they don’t like too much, who it turns out to be the outspoken former umpire and Bowling Green State University graduate, Jim Joyce.
