Farmers Insurance has unveiled a comedic advertisement to highlight its insurance coverages. In the commercial, a real estate agent named Carolyn Burwell is seen showing a couple a house that she marketed as having an ocean view. Upon entering the house, she humorously remarks to the couple, “You found an amazing bargain with this place,” playfully adding, “If you don’t take it, I will”.

When the potential buyers inquire about the ocean views promised in the listing, Mrs. Burwell clarifies that it’s “ocean view adjacent” and gestures towards the neighboring house, where a man in a bathrobe is enjoying his morning coffee. She suggests to the couple that if they peek through that house, they’ll catch a glimpse of a stunning ocean view.

At this point, actor J.K. Simmons shows up declaring “If it’s important, it’s not worth compromising. Which is why with Farmers you don’t have to compromise quality to get great savings on your insurance”.

Mrs. Burwell then notices a bird that seems a seagull to her but Simmons points out that it’s actually a pigeon.

Simmons has appeared in numerous other ads for Farmers, promoting the company’s Policy Perks, which include accident forgiveness, Safe Driver Discount, which gives safe drivers a discount simply for having a clean driving record for three years, Auto Multi-Policy Discount, Auto/Home Discount, Guaranteed Replacement Cost, and more.
