A collection of relatable advertisements showcases how Edible’s brand is getting a refresh ahead of its 25th anniversary with a focus on edible bouquets. These ads emphasize that there’s a chocolate or fruit bouquet for every life moment, even the awkward ones, such as a mismatched online date or enduring a cringe-worthy performance.
One of these ads, titled “Catfished,” portrays a young woman experiencing a deceptive first date, realizing that her app conversation didn’t align with the man’s actual appearance. To enhance her date experience, she orders a bouquet of flowers with dipped berries.
The voiceover concludes the 15-second spot with the message, “Feel like you’ve been catfished? There’s an edible for that. Get all kinds of deliciousness delivered right when you need it at edible.com.”
The new Edible ad campaign, crafted by production strategy and creative agency Hone and directed by Community Films’ Ben Hurst and Dave Thomas, introduces Edible’s brand evolution. This evolution includes a bold and direct tone aimed at resonating with a new generation of consumers and a more modern and distinctive visual identity reflected in its packaging. A refreshed website is set to launch in 2024.
