Clash of Clans Ronaldinho Commercial

Football legend Ronaldinho humorously calls out striker Erling Haaland in a new ad created by agency DAVID New York, expressing his frustrations over Haaland’s major new deal with the Supercell video game “Clash of Clans.”

The Norwegian forward has taken on the role of the famous “Barbarian King” character in the popular mobile game, but Ronaldinho claims that the deal should have been his in the commercial. “So, Haaland is in Clash of Clans. But I’m the one who should be there,” Ronaldinho says at the start of the 40-second video. “I know they already have a wizard in Clash of Clans, but this thing is fireballs. And with this ball here… What magic can he do? Does he know how to do this?” he adds, performing some tricks with a football.

As the advertisements wraps up, Ronaldinho asserts his passion for Clash of Clans, noting that he has appeared in much more random places.

Football legends Ronaldo and Sergio Agüero have also posted humorous reaction videos on their social media channels, claiming they should have been given the starring role in Clash of Clans.

Launched in 2010 and based in Helsinki, Finland, Supercell is also known for several other globally popular games, including Hay Day, Boom Beach, Brawl Stars, and Clash Royale.
