Wendy’s has dropped a new commercial to promote its new Pumpkin Spice Frosty, a pumpkin spice-flavored Frosty added to the menu for a limited time beginning September 12.
The spot features Wendy’s spokeswoman in her car, saying she’s all about fall, especially the new Wendy’s Pumpkin Spice Frosty, and this is why she’s taking some “me time” there. However, she doesn’t get to enjoy too much “me time” because two of her coworkers show up, asking her if fries are utensils. She replies that it is a good question.
At the end of the commercial, the voiceover urges viewers to try Wendy’s new Pumpkin Spice Frosty.
The restaurant chain says the new flavor “merges the same creamy, delectable texture Frosty fans know and love with hints of pumpkin and a blend of warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg for a taste of familiar fall flavors in every bite”.
Pumpkin spice becomes thus the Frosty’s sixth-ever flavor, joining the limited time edition ranks of peppermint, strawberry and birthday cake.
Usually, Wendy’s only sells chocolate and vanilla versions of the milkshake-like treat. The Vanilla version is not sold this fall.
Also for a limited time this year, Wendy’s is adding a pumpkin spice-flavored cold brew coffee drink, which uses the “same delicious syrup from the pumpkin spice Frosty”.
