Leading global baby and parenting brand Tommee Tippee continues its “The Truth Is” campaign with a new installment, which focuses on breast pumping.
The spot features a mother working at her laptop at night and, after slightly touching her breasts, checking her phone to see what her toddler is doing.
“Back to work? Whenever, wherever you feed them, we’ve got you” onscreen lines read throughout the 15-second ad, which reveals that the woman uses a breast pump from Tommee Tippee to continue to feed her child with breast milk.
Eventually, viewers are encouraged to share their own stories about breast pumping, using the #TheTruthIs hashtag.
“The Truth Is” campaign, created in partnership with agency Manifest, The Gate Films, and director Matt McDermott, aims at shifting the online culture of criticism to one of honesty and compassion.
In one of its latest ads, dedicated to new parents, the brand highlighted that “everyone’s every day is different and that’s ok.” The spot also carried an empowering message for those who have just become parents, encouraging them to cancel the critics, celebrate the wins and connect with others.
