Tide has launched its NFL campaign, starring Eagles players Jason Kelce, Fletcher Cox, and Jordan Mailata.
The spot, created by Saatchi & Saatchi, is built on a premise we all are aware of – that people tend to procrastinate on doing laundry – and highlights that Tide is the best to tackle the pile when the stains get deeper and the smell gets worse.
The protagonist is a football fan who is shocked to find Jason Kelce, Fletcher Cox, and Jordan Mailata under his massive pile of laundry. The NFL stars are shown nudging him to take care of those dirty clothes and tell him that Tide can tackle any pile.
“When stains and odors pile up, it’s got to be Tide,” the voiceover says at the end of the commercial.
The laundry detergent brand gives consumers the chance to win a $10,000 scholarship. To enter the sweepstakes, they must log in to P&G Good Everyday, P&G’s free rewards program.
Earlier this year, Tide enlisted Kumail Nanjiani for its March Madness campaign, to remix viral videos where things get messy. Created by the same agency, the campaign showed the comedian and actor hijacking messy viral videos featuring people who are “gonna need more Tide”.
