Subaru urges people to enjoy Ascent-Sized Class-Leading Safety in its latest commercial.
The spot focuses on the automaker’s latest EyeSight Driver Assist Technology that detects a wider range of potential road hazards ahead, and features a young girl and her unlikely pet, a piglet, in a Subaru Ascent.
“Subaru’s latest EyeSight Technology detects a wider range of potential road hazards, helping to keep you safe all the way home. The new Subaru Ascent, with 3 rows and seats for up to 8,” the voicoeover says in the 15-second ad, which features a rock song performed by a male voce, whose lyrics include “As long as we’re together”.
Subaru’s EyeSight safety suite of driver safety assistance, including forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control, standard on all models.
The 2023 Subaru Ascent, starting at $35,120, is powered by a torquey turbocharged 260-hp flat-flour engine bolted to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), and also features a vertically oriented 11.6-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
