Southwest Airlines promotes its services in a new commercial, highlighting some of the benefits travelers get to enjoy when choosing Southwest.
The spot focuses on the flexibity the airline offers to its customers, such as no change or cancel fees, flight credits that don’t expire, Rapid Reward Points that don’t expire either, free same-day standby, and the possibility to carry two bags for free.
“Pack all the things, fly on your schedule, reward yourself and the girls, whenever, stay or go when you wanna. It’s the flexibility you want, only at Southwest,” the voiceover says in the 30-second ad, which features a diverse cast of Southwest customers enjoying these benefits.
The Dallas-based airline, which is the world’s largest low-cost carrier, operates non-stop flights to more than 100 destinations across 10 countries. The airline’s fleet is configured with just an Economy Class cabin. In contrast to many low-cost carriers, Southwest does not charge a fee for up to two checked bags. Non-alcoholic drinks and pretzels or peanuts are also free on board. Early boarding access, automatic online check-in and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.
