Actress Kaley Cuoco fronts a new ad campaign for Priceline, the website that helps users find discount rates for travel-related purchases such as airline tickets and hotel stays.
One of the spots included in the campaign, which is called “Go to your Happy Price”, introduces the theme song for the new Priceline show, set in an office building and starring a diverse cast – including Cuoco as an office ringleader who persuades her coworkers to take a vacation, the cliche family man, the adventurer, who’s got his eyes on Paradise but he’s stuck in the sand, the I.T. guy, who’s getting off the grid, the youth, and the boss. The track urges viewers to reinflate their dreams go to their happy place for a happy price by getting deals on Priceline.
The 60-second ad concludes with Cuoco lounging on a sofa, on the beach, and looking at a magazine featuring a photo of herself on the cover.
The spots will run on broadcast TV and online, including social media sites. As part of the campaign, consumers can access “hidden deals,” that will go live at the Super Bowl’s kickoff, with more coming during halftime. These deals, which include $1,000 coupons for Priceline Hotel Express Deals for travel anywhere, 90% off travel to Maui and Cancun, and $500 off trips to California, can be accessed by engaging with interactive props in the campaign’s digital ads.
