POM Wonderful, the global leader in California-grown pomegranates and the top-selling pomegranate juice in North America, says that free radicals are everywhere and urges people to elevate their daily protection with the antioxidant goodness of POM Wonderful in one of its latest ads.
The spot features a woman at the laundromat, finding herself surrounded by dozens of ghosts. “Frightening free radicals are everywhere,” the voiceover says, adding that, luckily, POM Wonderful’s antioxidants help defend against them. After taking a sip from her bottle of POM Wonderful, the woman feels protected and doesn’t shy away when one of the ghosts says “Boo” to her.
The commercial ends with the announcer saying the tagline “Real life is scary. Protect yourself from free radicals with POM”.
Developed by The Wonderful Company’s in-house creative team at Wonderful Agency, led by Keene, the “Real Life is Scary: Protect Yourself With POM” campaign debuted on October 3rd and also includes other two spots, each depicting free radicals in the form of aliens and vampires.
The ads run on TV, digital, mobile, linear TV, and cinema, as well as on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and select Spotlight Cinema theaters.
The brand’s pomegranate juice is made with pomegranates that are whole-pressed to release polyphenol antioxidants from the rind, pith, and arils.
POM Wonderful also sells fresh pomegranates and ready-to-eat pomegranate arils, cherry and blueberry juice, and teas.
