Opendoor Ornithologists Commercial - Feat. Man Disguised as Swan in a Lake

Opendoor, one of the largest homebuyers in the US, promotes its mobile app in a series of new commercials.

One of them, titled “Migration”, features two ornithologists in nature, waiting for a rare bird to show up. At some point, the man, disguised as a swan, exclaims “There it is!”, making his colleague believe he finally spotted the bird they’ve been waiting for. But it turns out he was actually talking about a house he found on sale. This house has all the features he dreamt of, including Herringbone wood floors, crown molding, and quartz countertop, and he doesn’t hesitate to show it to his fellow. There is a problem, though: the man must sell his house first and the migration could take months. His colleague, a curly-haired woman wearing eyeglasses, remembers about Opendoor and tells him, whispering, that he can sell directly to Opendoor and move on his schedule. Hearing the good news, the man exclaims “yes!” out loud, which scares the birds and makes them fly away. “Sorry!” he tells his colleague, who’s very disppointed about this turn of events.

At the end of the commercial, viewers are encouraged to start with an offer at opendoor.com.
