Ocado Price Promise Value Roundels Advert Actress

Ocado, the world’s largest dedicated online grocery retailer, has launched a new ad campaign to promote its Price Promise value proposition.

Created by St Luke’s, the advert opens with a young woman standing in her kitchen and realizing that there’s something weird happening with her bread bin. As she and her dog look in the same direction, this object, that moves continously, is eventually pinging open to reveal a value roundel bobbing away next to crumpets and mixed seed deli rolls.

Soon after, a pull-out shelf, the fridge and the freezer show off numerous value roundels. Eventually, a wall cabinet flings open and thousands more value roundels are toppling out, filling her kitchen.

“Ocado’s Price Promis matches your like-for-like shop with tesco.com, even Club Card prices. And if we’re not already cheaper than tesco.com, we’ll give you a voucher for the difference,” the voiceover says in the 30-second spot, mentioning that there are over 10,000 items included.

The narrator also encourages people to shop and “see why there’s an ocado just for you.”
