Kleenex urges people to “Save the Sleeve” in its latest ad campaign, which promotes its ultra soft tissues.
One of the spots features a father who, noticing that his little boy is ready to use his T-shirt to wipe his bubble nose, grabs a Kleenex and rushes to save the situation.
“Save the sleeve, grab Kleenex,” the voiceover says at the end of the 15-second commercial, which shows the Ultra Soft Tissues. These tissues have 3 thick layers that softly comfort skin and keep hands protected. They are hypoallergenic, dye-, fragrance-, and lotion-free, so they work just as well for watery eyes as they do for runny noses.
The brand says that all of its tissues, available in carton boxes featuring bright, colorful designs, are made from 100% responsibly sourced fiber.
Developed in partnership with creative agency FCB Inferno, the campaign debuted earlier this year, in February, with a spot that pokes fun at the various ways in which people deal with runny noses without a tissue to hand.
“We’ve all been caught without a tissue when we needed one. Save the Sleeve is a bold and simple reminder to be prepared for whatever life (or your nose) throws at you – because your sleeve is no substitute,” Kimberly-Clark marketing director UK & Ireland, Matt Stone, said in a press statement.
