Danny DeVito stars in a new Jersey Mike’s commercial, promoting the chain’s sauce and playing the saxophone.

The spot opens with the veteran actor revealing that real red wine vinegar and olive oil blend used by Jersey Mike’s for its subs is called “the juice” and that a sandwich made with the juice is “like jazz to your soul”. He then grabs a saxophone and starts playing it, whilst all the lights turn off, for a jazzy atmosphere.

On the screen, a sandwich is shown being splashed with this special blend.

DeVito became a Jersey Mike’s spokesman in September 2022 and has since appeared in several other ads. In the most recent one, he serves as a trainer for the chain’s employees helping them to get the necessary skills to use the slicer properly.

Set to the tune of Survivor’s iconic “Eye of the Tiger”, the spot features the workers doing one-armed pull-ups and slicing logs together, under DeVito’s supervision.
