Jack in the Box promotes its Double Bacon Sourdough in a new commercial featuring the brand’s mascot.
The spot, titled “Employees Doubles”, opens with Jack saying that he got doubles for everyone in the office to celebrate doubling his Sourdough Jack. The next scene shows two women who look alike and are dressed the same, two men who also look alike and drink from identical mugs, featuring the text “#1 Dad”. However, there is an employee who complains that his lookalike looks nothing like him. And he is right. The senior has a guy looking totally different on his right side. The man also tells Jack that his double, a hunk wearing nothing under his dark blue blazer, looks nothing like him, either.
At this point, the phone rings. It turns out it’s a call from HR. “It’s our wife” the employee’s double says.
At the end of the commercial, Jack urges viewers to order his Classic or Double Bacon Sourdough Jack.
The Double Bacon Sourdough Jack, which is a supersized version of the original Sourdough Jack, is made with two 100% beef patties, seasoned as they grill, double hickory smoked bacon, sliced tomatoes, two melty cheeses, mayo, and ketchup, all served on toasted sourdough bread.
The new menu item has 890 calories and carries a suggested price of $8.59. Consumers can also get it as part of a combo served with fries and a drink starting at $11.59.
The fast-food chain has also introduced new Sauced & Loaded Potato Wedges, which are also available at participating locations nationwide, in two varieties: Classic and Spicy.
