FootJoy, the leading golf shoe brand for over 100 years, encourages golfers to stand out and step forward in its latest ad, part of a new global marketing campaign titled “Step Forward”, which tells a story about the brand’s innovation, passion and commitment to creating the best golf products for the game’s future.
“What do you do when you take the lead? Run with it, be defined by it, push forward, get it wrong to get it right?
Don’t just leave the pack, pull others to the front. Rise up, stand out, step forward,” the voiceover says in the 30-second ad, which features a diverse cast of golf players, including elite professional ambassadors, amateurs, youngsters and disabled golfers – showing off their skills on the course. The spot showcases, at the same time, FootJoy’s design and innovation across the footwear, apparel and glove categories, with focus on the latest footwear worn by elite golf endorsers like Justin Thomas, Max Homa, Jessica Korda and a new generation of up and coming players such as Kim Egozi, Kamaiu Johnson and Jordan Thomas.
Created in partnership with agency Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners (BSSP), the campaign debuted on February 13 and includes television, digital, social media, podcasts and media partnership.
