Discover has launched a new ad campaign for its Cashback Debit checking account and has enlisted award-winning actress Jennifer Coolidge to star in its TV spots.

The campaign, titled “Especially for Everyone”, is aimed at dispelling the traditional belief that exceptional experiences are exclusively reserved for those in privileged positions and shows how their products and services are designed to make every customer feel appreciated.

In one of the ads, Jennifer is surprised to learn that Discover’s great benefits, like 1% cash back on up to $3,000 in monthly debit card purchases, are for everyone and not just VIPs.

The commercial features the actress in a diner, telling the waiter, named Thomas, that he is a good listener and that it makes her feel special. As she’s holding her Discover Cashback Debit card, ready to use it to pay for her lunch, she mentions that Discover also makes her feel special because it gives her cash back on debit, not just credit. When Tom answers that, actually, Discover gives cash back on debit to everyone, Jennifer is so surprised she can’t even believe it and is upset that even Debbie John, who had Jennifer’s bike in her garage for years without her knowing.

The campaign is set to run nationwide across a variety of channels, including TV commercials, online video advertising, radio, social media, and other channels.
