The Current Account Switch Service, which makes switching your current account simple, reliable and stress-free, has released a new ad campaign to raise awareness among current account holders about this service and encourage them to consider switching their bank account if it isn’t right for them anymore.
One of the spots features a man who had a certain boy-band haircut since his teenage years, in the ’90s, and, even though time passed and this haircut proved to be an impediment sometimes, and even a chaos-wreaking element, as it stopped him from seeing well, he kept it for decades. One day, though, he saw in a barbershop window a photo with other stylish hair cuts, and he stopped for a second to consider changing his haircut, too.
“Cuttings. They’re a bit like your current account. Just because something was good once doesn’t mean you have to stick with it forever,” the voiceover says at the end of the advert, adding the tagline “Maybe it’s time to switch”.
The “Maybe it’s time to switch” campaign, created in partnership with House 337 and MHP Group, also tackles mullets, ’80s power suits and double denim in dedicated ads.
