Chewy continues its “Pets Aren’t Just Pets, They’re More” campaign with a new commercial. This time, the retailer promotes its range of dog beds, which are available in multiple variants and at prices suiting every budget.

The ad shows Hank, a couple’s dog who’s more than a dog for them. He gets to sit between them in their bed, at night, watching movies together. The pet doesn’t hesitate to chatter and even give spoilers, to the exasperation of his human friends, who decide that it’s time for him to have his own bed. The man visits the Chewy website and chooses a plaid dog bed for Hank, who reveals he likes plaid.

The retailer’s “Pets Aren’t Just Pets, They’re More” campaign depicts several other scenarios featuring pets that are treated like humans. A dog named Bailey is a couple’s favorite child in a commercial promoting Chewy’s Flea & Thick medicine, another dog is a man’s best friend, and a cat named Mr. Marbles was so loved his deceased owner ensured he would receive recurring deliveries for all of his needs and perpetuity thanks to Autoship from Chewy. The cat also got a summer house from the wealthy man who passed away.

Earlier this year, the brand invited pet parents to celebrate on National Pet Day by sharing how their furry, feathery and scaly companions are more than just pets in TikTok videos.
