BMO promotes its eclipse Visa Infinite Card in a hilarious new commercial, highlighting that card members get 5x the points on everyday purchases like coffee, groceries, and filling up on gas.

The spot opens with a man sitting in a hot tub and saying there’s nothing better than taking a me day. The BMO spokesman, New Girl actor Lamorne Morris, shows up, encouraging him to imagine if every day were a me day and presents the BMO Eclipse Visa Infinite Card, which makes every day more rewarding with five times the points on the things you love, like grabbing coffee, going to restaurants, food delivery and even ride sharing, and lets you spend your points, like cash, on the things you really want.

“Like my own hot tub?” the man asks, making the actor burst into laughter. The smile on his face soon vanishes, though, and he asks whose hot tub is that.

The commercial ends with the voiceover saying the tagline “When a bank makes every day more rewarding, that’s the BMO effect.”

Actor Lamorne Morris became a spokesman for the Chicago-based bank in 2019, when it launched a campaign that aimed to highlight its commitment to customer service and digital innovation.
