BetMGM, the newly launched UK iGaming and online sports betting brand from MGM Resorts International, has launched its first advertising campaign, featuring stand-up comedian, actor, and certified gold standard Hollywood icon Chris Rock.
The spot, developed in collaboration with London-based creative agency Recipe, features Rock traveling in a gold speedboat from the Bellagio Fountains to the Thames. “We’re BetMGM and we know how to put on a show. That means we don’t just get a boat, we get a gold boat. What a lion. in the Bellaggio Fountain. And we’re here, in the UK, to make every game an occasion. With tools to help you play safe, get ready for the Golden Era of betting casino,” Rock says in the 30-second video.
The campaign’s objective is to raise brand awareness and highlight its exceptional offers and products, which are often described as ‘golden.’ Chris Rock will provide insights into various benefits, such as price enhancements, improved bonuses, and the outstanding opportunity to win a £2 million prize for correctly predicting six Premier League scores, known as ‘Golden Goals.’ Additionally, viewers can look forward to exclusive BetMGM content and the chance to win one of the UK’s largest jackpots, currently amounting to £15.4 million.
