Apple has dropped two new ads to promote its Apple Pay mobile payment service, which provides an easy and secure way to pay for physical goods and services such as groceries, clothing, tickets, and reservations.
One of them is a humorous take on captcha codes and features a woman trying to buy online an emerald table lamp. She makes the necessary steps to pay with her credit card but when she must insert the captcha code she has some serious trouble. Asked to select all images with farm animals, she starts wondering if dogs herd sheep and, while another woman makes an online purchase in just a few seconds with Apple Pay, the protagonist ends up questioning what dogs do.
“Pay the Apple Way” an onscreen line reads at the end of the commercial.
Another spot features a customer at the checkout in a grocery store, who some trouble paying with her card, while another customer pays instantly with Apple Pay.
Apple Pay replaces physical cards and cash with an easier, safer, more private and secure payment method, and can be used online, in apps, and in stores. Built into iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac, and iPad, it is easy to set up and use. To set up Apple Pay, you just have to add a debit, credit, or prepaid card to the Wallet app on your iPhone, Apple Watch, or other compatible device.
