Amazon advertises its Prime Visa credit cards in a series of new commercials, highlighting how much cardmembers can earn when using Prime Visa.
One of the spots tells the story of George, a man who is into camping and rented an RV with a stick shift. It turns out he had quite some issues because of this stick shift. The good part is that he paid for the gas with the new Prime Visa so he earned 2% back. “Now, that’s rewarding,” the voiceover declares at the end of the commercial, which sees the onscreen line “Unlimited 2% back at gas stations. No annual card fee.”
Other two ads feature Tina, a woman into spicy food, who used her Prime Visa credit card to pay for a very spicy dish at a restaurant and earned 2% back, and Kevin, a man who’s into running and runs a marathon wearing a giraffe costume for which he paid with his Prime Visa card on Amazon and earned, thus, 5% back.
The Prime Visa credit cards, issued by JPMorgan Chase Bank, also let cardmembers earn unlimited 3% back on their Amazon.com purchases or 5% back with an eligible Prime membership, unlimited 3% back online or in-store at Whole Foods Market or 5% back with an eligible Prime membership, 3% back at Amazon Fresh online or in-store or 5% back with an eligible Prime membership, unlimited 3% back on Chase Travel purchases or 5% back with an eligible Prime membership, unlimited 2% back on local transit and commuting, including rideshare, unlimited 2% back at restaurants whether they dine in or take out, and unlimited 1% back on all other purchases anywhere Visa is accepted.
