Yorkshire Tea continues its “Where Everything’s Done Proper” campaign with a new installment. This time, the tea brand has enlisted Sir Patrick Stewart to star in the TV advert.

Filmed in Harrogate with employees from across the business, the spot features the award-winning actor paying tribute to a special colleague named Tina, on her last day at work. “Tina, the void so hollow that you shall leave, the emptiness felt within these walls, where only the soft weeping of the forgotten shall we not hear again the enchanting echoes of your laughter or the sweet rasp of your stapler. We must and will continue. our love, our dreams, our wishes ride with you, fair Tina,” Sir Patrick Stewart tells the lady, who is then invited to have a pint with the rest of the team after work.

The advert, which debuted on TV on Monday, July 4, ends with the voiceover saying the tagline “Yorkshire Tea – Where Everything’s Done Proper”.

Sir Patrick is an absolute legend when it comes to delivering a heartfelt performance. If anyone is a master of the art of ‘doing things properly’ – something that is central to everything we do here at Yorkshire Tea – it’s Sir Patrick and we’re thrilled he is part of the Yorkshire Tea team,” Lucy Hoyle, Senior Brand Manager at Yorkshire Tea, said in a press statement.

The brand’s “Where Everything’s Done Proper” campaign debuted in 2017 and also included Sir Michael Parkinson, Sean Bean, the Brownlee Brothers, Dynamo and the Kaiser Chiefs.
