White Claw promotes its Black Cherry White Claw hard seltzer and its Crack the CLAW Murder Mystery Game, inspired by the Netflix series “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery”, in a new commercial.
The spot features a young man sipping from a can of White Claw and playing the game with a group of three young women. To one of them, who wears a pink lipstick (just like the hue left on a can placed on the table) and asks him what’s with the accent he has, he answers “I’ve been working on it, murderer!” “Relax, Benoit Blanc, it’s just a game!” the accused woman tells him. After taking a look at the card she has in front of her and seeing the text “You are a murderer”, she and her two friends sitting next to her burst into laughter.
“Can you crack the case? Get a limited-edition murder mystery game from White Claw and Glass Onion,” the voiceover says at the end of the commercial.
Set on a private Greek Island, in the Knives Out universe, the game can be played in six to ten players, who must discover the murderers among them before it’s too late.
