Wendy’s announces the addition of the new Peppermint Frosty to its menu, for a limited time, in a new ad.
The spot opens with several Wendy’s employees staring at an old man looking like Santa, who’s enjoying a Peppermint Frosty at one of the tables, in the restaurant. While one of them believes he is Santa, another one says he is just a guy taking a little break with a Peppermint Frosty. Curious to find out if what he thinks is true, the first employee approaches the customer and takes a seat in his lap.
The commercial ends with the voiceover urging viewers to choose Wendy’s new Peppermint Frosty when they need frosty time.
The holiday-themed Peppermint Frosty is the second new flavor the chain has launched in 2022, and the third new Frosty flavor in the US in the past 16 years, following the classic chocolate and vanilla. Peppermint actually replaces the strawberry flavour launched this past summer, but it will be around for a limited time only.
