Walkers celebrates its status as “Britain’s Most Loved Crisps” in a new advert, informing consumers that they can win £250 every hour for what they most love.
The advert, shot from the perspective of a Walkers bag, features a diverse cast of people of different ages and walks of life, grabbing crisps and eating them all, even the last crumbles, while in the background the iconic song “It Must Be Love”, performed by Madness, plays. Included on the band’s “Complete Madness” album, the track is available for purchase on Amazon for £0.99.
Among the varietes showcased throughout the spot are Sensations Thai Sweet Chili, Walkers Smoky Bacon, Walkers Crispy Roast Chicken, Walkers Max Paprika, Walkers Monster Munch, Walkers Oven Baked with Salt & Vinegar, and Walkers Ready Salted.
At the end of the advert, the voiceover declares that now, with Walkers, you can win £250 every hour for what you most love.
In order to enter the Sweepstakes, which ends March 20, 2023, consumers must buy a promo pack and visit walkers.co.uk/lovefromwalkers for a chance to win £250 (or € equivalent) each hour. There is a maximum 1 (one) entry per hour. Viewers are advised to see the website for terms and conditions.
Earlier this year, the crisps brand teamed up with Comic Relief for its new “It Feels Good to Share” campaign, aimed at getting people talk about their mental health this festive season. The spot encourages viewers to talk more this Christmas “Because it feels good to share. Not just your crispts” and informs that Walkers has donated 2 million to Comic Relief to support mental wellbeing programmes.
Walker and Comic Relief have also partnered to support mental wellbeing through The Smiles Fund, a joint Walkers and Comic Relief fund focused on early intervention through comedy and arts. Walkers have committed to raising £2 million for Comic Relief by the end of 2022.
