Verizon Home Internet Unbridled Costs: Girl Meets Cable by Cassandra Vincent Commercial

Verizon advertises its Home Internet in a new commercial.

Created like a promotional video for a novel written by Cassandra Vincent and titled “Unbridled Costs: Girl Meets Cable”, the spot features the book, while the voiceover says “From acclaimed author of romantic thrillers ‘Starved for Connection’ and ‘Not What She Signed Up For’, comes a tale of love at a price: ‘Unbridled Costs: Girl Meets Cable'” She then urges viewers to follow the protagonist, Lorena, as she falls for Cable Internet, a mystifying partner that comes with a high price, and suffer along with her in this doomed relationship when they pick up a copy.

At this point, a male voiceover interrupts the “ad” to give viewers an alternative: switch to Verizon Home Internet. “Internet you can love at a price you will love, too,” he says, while onscreen lines inform that prices for this service are starting at $25/month with Auto Pay and select 5G mobile plans. The narrator also adds that you can get this offer with no annual contracts, hidden fees or data caps and urges you to ditch cable today and visit the Verizon website.
