Uber Eats has released a new ad to promote its UBER ONE membership plan, which lets members get 5% off rides, up to 10% off orders, and an unlimited $0 Delivery Fee on everything from “roasted yams to untossed gems”.
The 15-second spot features Julia Fox saying she joined UBER ONE for the zero-dollar delivery fee on roasted yams, Hawaiian pizza, and her favorite, untossed gems. She also mentions, at the end of the video, that Uber One is actually her favorite cult.
An onscreen line urges consumers to become an UBER ONE Member. Viewers are also informed that this is valid for participating stores only and for the non-grocery stores there is a $15 minimum order to get the $0 Delivery Fee and up to 10% off. For the grocery stores, there is a $35 minimum order to get the %0 Delivery Fee and up to 5% off. The 5% discount is not available for rides booked 30 min or more in advance.
The chain’s world-wide Uber One campaign, from Special Group US, debuted earlier this year, in summer, and also features Tracy Morgan, Sarah Silverman, and Zach Cherry.
